I used some Horween Chromexcell horse leather to recover a bible for my wife and a new bible for my brother's wedding gift. I got some nice silk satin ribbon to make multiple markers.
There is a little glue sticking out, but I'm pretty please with the result. I hope it holds up for years of reading.
