A blog about the things I make and modify, with occasional thrift purchases that I am especially proud of. Some things I make to hopefully sell, others I just want to show off, but the right price will take anything--shoot me an email if you are interested!

I Made a Purchase of Nice Shirts

I made a trip to the thrift store today, and scored some nice threads.

First, I found this pink, French-cuffed shirt by Alfred Dunhill of London. It fits, though a bit tight in the neck, and has real MOP buttons, not cheap plastic ones.

Next, I found this RL Polo dress shirt, also with nice buttons.

Finally, a trip to the ladies section netted this silk pocket square. That's usually where such things are found, because thrift store employees rarely know much about clothing.

I made some purchases for others

I found this great Brooks Brothers OCBD:

This is the best representation of the color:

I also found some ridiculous Polo cords with foul and guns embroidered all over. They're a 34W/32L: SOLD

I made some good purchases for myself

I found:

Brook Brothers Country Club wool pants. They fit me perfectly, and were less than $4.

Filson Sweater which also fits me--less than $4.

And some Camel/Khaki thin-wale cords were found at Saks off 5th.

If you thought those savings were good, check these out...

...plus an additional 50% off! That's Wal Mart pricing. They fit me pretty well.
